The Company will optimize smart sensors to manufacture smart shirts for continuous respiratory monitoring of patients with CRD. The smart shirt, connected to a mobile app, will regularly and accurately monitor breathing parameters of lung function in people engaging in everyday activities. It will also sense how the fabric stretches when the wearer’s chest expands and contracts and uses this information to gauge the volume of air inhaled and expelled, thus letting patients manage the disease and get notified of any abnormality in respiration patterns. The Company’s technological solution will highly increase reliability, improve durability, remove the need to wear clothing articles/attachments, provide a prompt response due to the ultra-high sensitivity, minimize false alarms and be cost-effective, thus cutting down the structural barriers of traditional sensors and resolving the prevailing issue of monitoring human health.
